Associate Director of Project Management

Job Description

Treximo Life Sciences (“Treximo”) focuses on providing program and project management and execution-based consulting within the Life Sciences industry. The Associate Director of Project Management serves in a pivotal role within the Treximo organization. They are responsible for the successful delivery of life sciences projects to completion. This person may also have the stretch opportunity of driving one of the core foundational pillars of the Project Management operational areas – PM Community of Practice, Resource Management/Hiring, or Marketing Strategy Development and Implementation.  The Associate Director of Project Management reports to the SVP of Program Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Project Direction. Effectively structures workload to successfully complete project assignments on time with minimal re-work and oversight from Treximo Account Management/ Engagement Leader
  • Develops all project deliverables (e.g., project plan, charter, communication plans, presentations) and conducts reviews/approvals with client leadership
  • Define project objectives, requirements, and assumptions necessary to structure a project or activity.
  • Plan, schedule, and control project activities to fulfill objectives and satisfy project requirements.
  • Develop and drive integrated project plans, aligning project tactics with project strategy.
  • Manages the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of complex teams (e.g., large, multiple business units, multi-site and/or international) or multiple projects.
  • Applies professional principles, practices, and techniques to lead project teams and control project schedule, cost, and performance risks.
  • Effectively conduct F2F and virtual ongoing meetings and workshops
  • Has subject matter expertise in project management, process improvement, business analysis and/or organizational change.
  • Owns quality of work and most, if not all, deliverables under responsibility (including client deliverables); follow direction of Treximo supervisor in improving deliverable quality, as needed
  • Manages scope and mitigates risk across projects.
  • Proactively escalate and resolve issues and potential mitigations activities to Treximo supervisor and client lead.

 Education & Experience

  • Undergraduate Degree
  • Relevant advanced degree and/or 5+ years’ experience in multiple Treximo core areas
  • 5-10+ years’ Life Sciences (pharmaceutical and/or medical devices) experience
  • Proven experience managing and overseeing projects in one or more of the following areas: PV, Medical Devices, Quality Assurance, Clinical Development, Regulatory, and Manufacturing
  • PMP certification (or completion of PMP certification within 1 year of hire)
  • Must be able to travel as needed, up to 25%.

Preferred Skills

  • Advanced project management skills and experience
  • Organizational Change Management experience
  • Process Optimization experience and applicable certifications (as needed)
  • Capable of leading moderate to large global teams
  • Advanced understanding and proficiency with utilizing PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, Project, OneDrive, and SharePoint
  • Advanced understanding of and experience with collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Google Meets)
  • Active Listening. Strong/advanced proficiency in accurately capturing meeting outcomes/minutes
  • Active Listening. Strong proficiency in accurately articulating and processing client challenges/issues
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively communicate and build relationships with a broad spectrum of audiences at all organizational levels.
  • Sound technical aptitude and proven ability to grasp general knowledge of multiple disciplines and technologies
  • Drive/support workshops; actively support/drive workshop preparation. Includes ability to effectively conduct virtual workshops.
  • Advanced level of communications skills, both verbal and written. Minimal coaching is needed.

Project Management – Senior Consultant

Job Description

The Senior Consultant of Project Management serves in a pivotal role within the Treximo organization. They are responsible for the successful delivery of life sciences projects to completion. The Senior Consultant of Project Management ultimately reports to the SVP of Program Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Project Direction. Works with project lead to structure workload to successfully complete project assignments on time with some re-work and oversight from the aforementioned
  • Supports the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of the project team
  • Supports development of and/or develops all project deliverables (e.g., project plan, charter, communication plans, presentations) and conducts reviews/approvals with client leadership
  • Compile and analyze data and develop summary reports/presentations.
  • Drives (as project lead) small-mid-size project teams
  • Applies professional principles, practices, and techniques to lead project teams and control project schedule, cost, and performance risks.
  • Has experience in project management, process improvement, business analysis and/or organizational change.
  • Effectively conduct F2F and virtual ongoing meetings and workshops
  • Owns quality of work and most, if not all, deliverables under responsibility (including client deliverables); follow direction of Treximo supervisor in improving deliverable quality, as needed
  • Manages scope and mitigates risk across projects.
  • Proactively escalate and resolve issues and potential mitigations activities to Treximo supervisor and client lead.

 Education & Experience

  • Experience overseeing and delivering Life Sciences projects
  • PMP certification (or completion of PMP certification within 1 year of hire)
  • Must be able to travel as needed, up to 25%.

Preferred Skills

  • Can function as a generalist PM, but preferred Life Sciences target areas: PV, Medical Devices, Quality Assurance, and Clinical
  • Project management skills and experience
  • Organizational Change Management experience (as needed)
  • Process Optimization experience and applicable certifications (as needed)
  • Capable of leading small to moderate global teams
